Regensburg is one of Germany's best preserved medieval cities dating back to the time of the Celts around 500 B.C. There's so much history here to absorb and buildings built in the 13th century. One of the highlights of the day was eating at the Historische Wurstkuche, the Old Sausage Kitchen, one of Germany's oldest restaurants and a local tourist attraction.
Our after dinner entertainment was a Bavarian one-man-band, Humpapa Hansi. While he spoke no English, we understood everything he said! He was very entertaining, and to our good fortune, we were NOT chose to participate in his antics!
The last photo is the fire in the fireplace that greets us in our room each evening as we turn in for the night! (There are 12 different options for fires on the TV with classical music, and our cabin steward selects one each night. I must say it's very relaxing to return to our room after a long day with soft music playing, fire in the fireplace, and a bedside lamp on.
