We arrived in Miltenberg before 7 AM today, and this was the view from our room.
The charming town of Miltenberg sits right on the banks of the Main River protected by medieval defensive walls and towered gates. There's only one main street through town, so we couldn't get lost! The Marktplatz centers around a Renaissance-era fountain and features half-timbered buildings, cobblestone lanes, and one of the oldest inns in Germany, Haus sum Riesen, which dates back to 1590. It's hard to believe that we can see anything more beautiful that what we've already seen, but it just keeps getting better! Enjoy!
(I took over 100 photos of this beautiful town, so it was very hard to only select a few!)

A grilled lunch was served on the Sky Deck today while we were docked in Miltenberg. We were served a very nice lunch of salads, grilled hamburgers, chicken, salmon and sausage, corn on the cob and baked potatoes. Of course, it was topped off with rum-raisin and chocolate chip ice cream!
We spent the afternoon cruising down the Main River on our way to Rudesheim tomorrow. All of the following pictures were taken from our cabin. As you can see, it's a beautiful day in Germany with temps near 80 degrees. The children were enjoying the pool.
There are lots of campgrounds on this stretch of the river. Germans camp a little differently than we do! Look at the screen rooms they attach to the front of their campers giving them extra outdoor space!

It's 11 PM and we're going through another lock! Time to go to bed! Until tomorrow...
