Even though we visited Budapest last summer, we were happy to have a chance to revisit some of the places we saw last year. On our city tour we visited Heroes' Square, Fisherman's Bastion with spectacular views of the Danube River, and the 11th century Matthais Church with its intricate tiled roof patterns. While there are many bridges in Budapest, the most famous one is the Chain Bridge, built in 1849, connecting Buda on the right bank with Pest on the left.
