We arrived in Budapest around 6 PM (12 :00 PM DST).  After haling a taxi to our hotel, we decided to go have dinner at a local restaurant even though we weren't very hungry.  The hotel recommended a family-owned restaurant called Kasca.  She said they served authentic Hungarian food and had entertainment after 7PM.  Thinking we would find formica topped tables and um-pa-pa music, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant was anything but that!  We walked into a beautifully furnished restaurant with table cloths on the tables and a roving violinist playing classical music!

Needless to say, we had an awesome experience!  The ambiance was pleasant, the food prepared fresh and delicious, the service impeccable, and the entertainment outstanding!  Pat was so moved and emotional from the entire evening that he was wiping tears from his eyes.  Can you believe that!  This experience brought back many memories of his years spent in Germany.

Our hotel even had a "Selfie Point" on the 6th floor where you could go and make your "selfie!"  So we did!  As you can see, it's certainly not a professional photo, but it was a fun way to end a perfect evening!  Tonight was an evening of making memories for a lifetime!  What a way to start our travels!

It's time for Pat to go to bed.  Nighty night!
