We arrived in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, shortly after noon after cruising all night from Budapest. We've been lucky with the weather so far. It's much cooler than anticipated by all of us! 56 - 70 degrees!
Our city tour of Bratislava began with a bus ride to the castle on the hill which provided spectacular views of the area. Then we returned to the Old Town where we went on a walking tour. We saw many interesting buildings to include the Town Hall, one of the oldest stone buildings in the city, and St. Martin's Cathedral, coronation church for the Kingdom of Hungary from the 16th to 19th centuries.
After dinner we were entertained onboard by "the Aphrodites", a classical performance by five female performers. They were very entertaining!
